Front Office · Trade builder preview

Recorded data (Wk 7, 2026-10-20), nothing live is sent. Every write request is blocked and the Send step is disabled. The trade checks are canned examples of the server's answer.

1. Open Front Office → Trades (opens on the Trade builder; Trade finder is the second choice).
2. Choose a team, tap Add on players and picks (add a third team for a three-team trade). Watch Trade impact (cap, lineup, validation) update, then add a note and tap Send offer → Yes, send to see the confirmation and the “disabled in preview” message.
3. Pre-trade extensions are hidden in this preview: the Front Office does not yet have the server's extension history (whether a team already used its extension on a player), so it shows no eligibility badge and no extension choices rather than guess.
4. Cap money: each team's panel shows how much it can include and an amount box (held to the rule's maximum). Lineup impact lists every traded player, starter or bench, plus roster depth by position (year-to-date points, not projections).
5. Validation states to try: nothing selected (No trade proposed), one side only (Incomplete trade), both sides (Looks fine so far), three players from one side (Needs an acknowledgment), four (Not allowed).
6. Labels: Recorded data = the 2026-10-20 rosters and scores; Calculated = cap and lineup math run live in the page by the Front Office's own engines; SIMULATED server check = canned examples of the server's answer.
7. Try: calendar closed · calendar unreadable · server unreachable.
